Background: Although the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) assessment tools are not validated in Spain, they are used in professional practice. The degree of knowledge and frequency of their use by occupational therapists in Spain is unknown. The main objective was to identify whether occupational therapists in Spain know and use MOHO assessment tools. Methods: A convenience sample of 185 active occupational therapists in Spain were recruited through social media and completed an ad-hoc online survey between November 2019 and February 2020. A descriptive analysis and a correlation analysis between qualitative variables were performed. Results: 56.8% of the participants use the MOHO framework. The best-known MOHO tools are AMPS, OQ, SSI and MOHOST, and the most used are VQ, MIC, OPHI-II and MOHOST. There is a direct relationship (p <0.01) between the ACIS, VQ, OSA, RC and MOHOST and their use in the field of Mental Health, and between the MIC and its use in Geriatrics. Conclusions: Occupational therapists practicing in Spain have knowledge of MOHO assessment tools. To a lesser extent, they use the MOHO assessment tools, being more frequently employed in the field of Mental Health.
